How Can I Dispose Of Unused Paint?
Leftover paint must never be poured down the drain. Small amounts of unwanted paint can be brushed out on newspaper, allowed to dry and then disposed of via domestic waste collection. Drop off larger quantities of unused paint at your nearest Paintback collection site. Empty paint containers should be left open in a well-ventilated area to dry out. When dry, recycle steel containers via steel can recycling programs. Disposal of empty paint cans via domestic recycling may differ between local authorities. For exact details of how to recycle empty paint cans, check with your local council.
How Safe Is Taubmans Paint?
Many of our paint products are low in VOC and odour for maximum indoor air quality… however, it’s always a good idea when you’re painting indoors to ensure good ventilation. Keep windows and doors open, and for extra air flow put a fan in the doorway to circulate fresh air from other parts of the house. For extra info, check out our products page.
